i'm back after a month and a half, and decidedly more cobwebbed!! many updates.

finshed summer class, saw MCR live (!!!!!), went to my first goth night (!!!!), made some new recipes (x, x). I also started using Ellipsus to edit my writing and its such a different and nice experience, honestly more motivating to write than straight up google docs. have started listenin to various ghost/horror story podcasts, of which my favorite is Classic Ghost Stories Podcast. Walker does such a nice job and its way fun to listen to him dissect the history/have thoughts on the story after the reading itself is done.

the mcr concert and the goth night are definitely up there in terms of transformative moments. of course seeing the band itself was awesome, a moment i didn't think i'd be alive for (i'm glad i am!!!) BUT the experience of being absolutely surrounded by people dressed all in black, screaming the same lyrics as you??? TRANSCENDENTAL. and before the goth night i was sure that i did not have the clubber's temperament but i ended up having the most fun I think i've ever had :) it's so delightful to dance like a weirdo and have others doing the same near you with super loud vampire music splitting your eardrums!!

OH!!! i also started watching amc's Interview with the Vampire series :) i knew it was good but i'm honestly baffled at how fucking good it is. all the canon changes add more depth and intrigue to the characters and feel so natural!! i'm only on ep 2 because i'm pacing out my watching but hooooly shit. love love love.

other than that, a lot of diy's, a lot of reading. i can't wait until it's cool enough where I am to start picnicing at the cemetery, cuz then i can bring all my projects outside and get some fresh air... agh. time to watch some spooky movies while i rip and tear i guess.
